Hana made this drawing, folded it up, and stuck it into her back pack. I wanted to make a picture of it before she left the house, but was almost not allowed to.
“This is not for you, it’s for Miss Hutchinson,” she said. Then I remembered; it was Teachers Day. This was the ‘Thank You’ note she got. Her first art feedback, so to speak.
Hana (8 years), an accomplished - and prolifically productive -
artist, has a mom who does not know what to do with all her art work.
If her mom keeps it all, the house will soon overflow with more junk than her sanity can handle.
If her mom throws it all away, she fears that one day she might regret it, and wish she had kept it.
And therefore Hana’s mom has decided to document it on this blog. And although most of Hana’s work made in the years 2004 – 2007 has been lost, her future work will feature here.
