Hana and her Mom walk to school. Hana picks up a yellow flower and gives it to her Mom.
“Thank you,” says Hana’s Mom, “You’re so nice.”
“Yes, I know,” replies Hana.
Her Mom, in a sentimental mood, continues, “You know, you’re very special to me; I had to wait a very long time before I got you.”
“Well, it was worth the wait,” Hana replies.
Ouch. No lack of self-confidence here.
